Reciprocity​

Reciprocity* is a performative and photographic series focusing on the concepts of dance, body as spirit, fusion of time and space, formalism, and the veneration of nature.  My relationship to nature led to  a desire for a better understanding of Paganism** as a way to enhance my journey to personal enlightenment through my own forms of spiritual practice. This body of work is both a documentation and representation of my experience of exploring nature through the art of dance as I work to connect with and respond to natural spaces through movement and Reciprocity.

*Reciprocity (n.) mutual dependence, action, or influence.
​**Paganism (n.) a polytheistic or pantheistic nature-worshipping religion. The ancestral religion of the whole of humanity. An umbrella term that represents a variety of denominations which organize themselves and operate without a centralized religious body or standardized dogma.
